Two Zebra Finches (Taeniopygia guttata) try and hide from me amongst the foliage. The male finch is the one at the bottom of the image and has more plumage colour and markings than the female. EXIF: Canon EOS 30D : 1/400 sec : f 7.1 : 400 mm : ISO 400

Ayiiii, cute! I never saw them in "free nature" actually. These birds are very popular here in Europe to have in cages... sad eh! I do not really understand how anyone would want to keep a bird in a cage anyway!!

Wonderful work, David K. I do find the out of focus foreground leaves distracting but, hey, there was nothing you could do about that. You definately made the best of what you had. :)
