While at Taronga Zoo in Sydney I saw a number of animal shows - for me the star of the day was this Black-Breasted Buzzard (Hamirostra melanosternon). During the Free Flight Bird Show this amazing bird would pick up a small rock in his beak and continue to throw it at the fake emu egg, in an attempt to break it open and receive his reward. I love how some birds use tools to get what they need! I watched a crow once with a walnut. He would fly up to the lamp post and drop the nut to the road below. He continued this tell he broke the nut open.
