Three Yellow-Billed Spoonbills (Platalea flavipes) go about their business on a property near Axedale. Using the long grass on the side of the road for cover, I was able to sneak quite close to these usually shy birds. EXIF: Canon EOS 30D : 1/500 : f10 : 400mm : ISO 250

Hmm nice birds, but together they don't really convey anything. Perhaps zooming in on just one?

Lovely shot Dave. I also like the way you've caught them all in different poses. Their bills and heads sort of remind me of pelicans. Are they of the same family of birds? Chris
