White-faced Herons are the most commonly seen herons in Australia. They are found throughout the mainland and Tasmania, and most coastal islands. I photographed this bird yesterday afternoon as it walked along the waters edge at Kennington Reservoir in Bendigo. EXIF: Canon EOS 300D : 1/250 : f5.6 : 400mm : ISO 100
