One of the many Marbled Geckos that live around my house in Bendigo. With this close-up image I have tried to show the amazing texture, pattern and eyes that this reptile speices has. Marbled Geckos are an arboreal species and usaully hide under the bark of trees, fallen timber or logs during the day. This guy, however, lives under my front door seal and each morning when I leave the house I have to be very careful not to squash him! wee wee funny creature!
While I lived in Florida, there were many little lizards living around. Sometimes i just sit in the front yard watching them crawling here, there, everywhere, upside down, downside up...or on top of each other.....very funny creature.

A nice little introspective on him. His eye looks like it's made of wrinkled up gold foil, though I'm sure I'm just rehashing what people above me have already said. :)
