A red Dragonfly perches at the edge of Kennington Reservoir in Bendigo. The colour of this guy was amazing! I would have liked the image to be a little sharper, however it still shows the beauty of the insect.

brilliant shot again, I agree about the sharpness, odd how it seems that insect shots almost seem like they need to be in perfect focus. I like that this one almost presents the insect differently.

well she/he is certainly a stunner David i dont ever remember seeing a dragonfly that colour before in australia... well done in capturing such a flighty subject mate :)
