Lake Mungo, located in NSW, is an archaeologically significant part of the Willandra Lakes World Heritage Area. This photo was taken at sunset while on the Walls of China, which is a large lunette rising to 30 m above the plain and runs for some 30 km around the old lake's eastern shore. As the sun went down the ancient sands turned an amazing pink colour.
Its very beautiful, nice tones.

Captures that red red soil well.
If you go back I think a shot of this again, with the line between the two layers on the horizon line would make a wonderfull shot.

Love the colour of that soil....the setting sun does wonderful things to the landscape.
